Growing Up

Born on August 23, 1981, in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, Rahul Gaur is the son of Yogendra and Sadhana Sharma. His father, a retired Mechanical Engineer from the Indian Railways, had postings in various cities, including Pathankot, Ludhiana, and Lucknow. Rahul’s education journey included schools like Red Rose Senior Secondary School, Kendriya Vidyalaya Maimora, and RDSO Lucknow, where he honed his interpersonal skills.

Laying The Foundation

Rahul earned his B.Com degree in 2004 from the University of Lucknow and later pursued a PGDBM in Sales & Marketing (equivalent to an MBA) from Dr. Gaur Hari Singhania Institute of Management and Research, Kanpur, in 2007. During his final year, he completed an internship project with Saint Gobain Glass. This experience led him to secure a position as a Management Trainee at Ansal API, a real estate company, in 2007. Over the years, Rahul climbed the corporate ladder to become a Senior Manager, where he managed critical sales and marketing projects and represented the company at the Dubai Property Expo.

In 2011, Rahul and Reena entered into a matrimonial union through an arranged marriage facilitated by a mutual friend, who has since become a relative. Reena holds a postgraduate degree along with a Bachelor of Education qualification and presently works as a school teacher in Lucknow. Their connection has grown into a testament of compatibility and mutual understanding. Their journey together is marked by unwavering support, effective communication, and a deep appreciation for each other’s strengths. This strong foundation has enabled them to navigate life’s challenges hand in hand, fostering a loving and enduring companionship that continues to thrive. They are blessed with two children: Mugdha, their elder daughter, who embodies their grace and wisdom, and Lakshika, the younger one, who brings vibrant energy to their family.

Rahul Gaur’s family, residing in Lucknow, has been a pillar of strength and support throughout his journey. His parents’ unwavering guidance and encouragement have played a pivotal role in his achievements. Rahul’s younger sister, Megha, and her husband, Prashant Dubey, have excelled in their respective careers as software engineers in Pune. Despite the physical distance, the strong bond within the family, characterized by mutual support and collective achievements, underscores the significance of familial connections in individual growth and success.
